Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Holidaymaker

Cancellation of the booking by the holidaymaker should be made by email to info@clovenstonelodges.co.uk as soon as is possible.

In the event of a cancellation by the holidaymaker a full refund of the booking deposit will be made up to 12 weeks prior to start date of holiday.  If the holidaymaker cancels anytime within 12 weeks of the arrival date the booking deposit is non-refundable other than at the discretion of the owner. If the holiday maker cancels after the balance has been paid (generally prior to 6 weeks of the arrival date) Clovenstone Lodges will not be required to pay back either the booking deposit nor the balance paid by the holidaymaker.  Clovenstone Lodges will attempt to re-let the property and if successful, a discretionary payment may be made. However, we strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by the Property Owner

The property owner will endeavour to make sure the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event the property becomes unavailable and the property owner has to cancel the booking, the property owner will refund any monies that have been paid by the holidaymaker to Clovenstone Lodges. However any monies paid to a third party in connection (without limitation) of your holiday will not be refunded.
