Nestled amongst the trees at Clovenstone, Cairnwood Lodge is a distinctive oval-shaped retreat, thoughtfully designed for relaxed stays with family or friends.
Taking inspiration from its peaceful woodland setting, Cairnwood’s sweeping curved design and natural timber finishes create a warm and welcoming space for up to four guests. Perfect for a family break, two couples or a getaway with friends, the lodge combines contemporary comfort with a real sense of calm and connection to its surroundings.
Outside, a spacious private deck provides plenty of room to unwind, with outdoor seating, a secluded hot tub and covered dining pod – perfect for long summer evenings or wrapping up and enjoying the fresh Aberdeenshire air whatever the season.
Interior
Cairnwood’s unique architecture continues inside, where the sweeping timber-clad ceiling follows the curve of the lodge and gives the open-plan living space a wonderfully warm and distinctive feel.
The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped, with a four-ring induction hob, oven, integrated microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster, along with all the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you’ll need.
The dining area comfortably seats four, while a generous L-shaped sofa and footstool provide the perfect place to settle in and relax. There’s also a TV, Bluetooth speaker and ambient lighting for cosy evenings in.
Sleeping & Bathrooms
Cairnwood sleeps up to four guests, with a king-size bed and single bunk beds, making it ideal for families as well as couples and small groups.
All bedding and towels are provided, along with a hairdryer, USB charging points and ambient lighting.
The contemporary shower room features a spacious walk-in rain shower.
Exterior
Surrounded by trees, Cairnwood has a generous private decking area designed to make outdoor living part of your stay.
Relax in your secluded electric hot tub, enjoy a morning coffee amongst the trees or settle down for an alfresco meal in the covered dining pod. A charcoal BBQ and outdoor seating are also provided, giving you everything you need for relaxed days and evenings outside.
There’s also external boot and shoe storage – particularly handy after a day spent exploring the Aberdeenshire countryside.
